I'm Sioban...
Hello!
...a holistic psychologist with ADHD helping women with ADHD design lives that fit!
My Story
Quick ADHD-Friendly Summary:
-
I specialise in supporting women with ADHD.
-
I blend ancient wisdom, spirituality, alternative approaches with modern science and psychology.
-
I am an AuDHDer.
-
I have 24 years experience in a variety of clinical and research settings. I have spent the past few years in a hyperfocus of learning ADHD assessment and treatment for women.
-
I take a positive stance. I believe ADHD comes with real strengths - intuition, creativity, resilience, empathy - and that many struggles come not from “what’s wrong with you”, but from lives that don’t quite fit.
-
I infuse joy and fun, powerful healers, wherever I can.
-
My highly sensitive nature resonates with a slower, simpler life. I pay close attention to what creates ease versus what quietly drains.
-
I love being a mum to a wonderful 19-year-old son.
-
I spend my time between Australia and Thailand - a lifestyle that is aligned with me.
-
I genuinely look forward to getting to know you - learning where you've come from, what's shaped you and what you want - so we can create you a life that fits!

The Longer Story...
I knew I wanted to be a psychologist from my teenage years. My empathic, highly sensitive nature has always tuned me in deeply to people, patterns, and the natural world. That sensitivity, which once felt like “too much”, became the foundation of my work.

Over the past 24 years, I’ve worked in clinical and research roles across private practice, hospitals, universities, schools, and wellbeing retreats. I intentionally explored different settings, ages, and life stages because I was curious about what genuinely helps people thrive - not just survive or manage 'symptoms'.

Over time, patterns began to emerge.

What stood out wasn’t a single diagnosis or technique, but how often capable, insightful people struggled when the way they were living didn’t match who they were.

Many women - especially those with ADHD - aren’t struggling because they’re broken or not trying hard enough. They’re struggling because they’re living in systems, expectations, and rhythms that don’t fit who they are.

Today, my passion is supporting ADHD adults who identify as women, particularly those who are newly diagnosed or beginning to suspect ADHD. I love helping women understand themselves more deeply, recognise their patterns, reclaim their strengths, and gently redesign their lives to fit their nervous systems, values, and energy.

In my work, I take a positive stance and gently challenge deficit-based, overly clinical models of care. I don’t believe growth comes from 'fixing' yourself. I believe it comes from understanding yourself and creating environments, systems, and relationships that support you.

I think clients connect with me as I don’t position myself as an expert. While I bring experience, research and skills to the table, I'm on my own journey too, and I'm open to sharing my experiences appropriately during our sessions. I believe in the mantra of 'perfectly imperfect' - seeing ourselves as whole, powerful, and worthy beings, regardless of our 'imperfections.' After all, that's the essence of the human condition.

My path has led me to integrate psychology with ancient wisdom, spirituality, and alternative approaches. Together, they offer something powerful and grounding.

As someone who is AuDHD with a highly sensitive nervous system, I’m personally drawn to a slower, simpler way of living that honours natural rhythms. I’m always refining that balance while running a business and being a mum to my lovely 19yo son.

Joy and play are not extras in my work - they’re essential. That’s why I design my own life around joy, spending time between Australia and Thailand in ways that support ease and vitality.

Finally, I’m passionate about supporting women across Australia, including those in rural and remote communities where access to holistic psychology services can be limited. I’ve had the privilege of working with clients from Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Adelaide, Perth, Darwin, and beyond.

If you’re curious, unsure, or just wanting a conversation to see if this feels like a fit, I’d love to connect.
